WritingWords are good. Me like words.![]() ScriptsClubbing in the Morning and Swinging at NightA few years back, when I first moved to the NYC area, I found myself in complete awe of my new surroundings. At the same time, though, I had to deal with the nostalgia for my old stomping ground and the old friends who I had left behind. So, I became driven to write this script. It's an enjoyable comedy-drama that combines characters from my past with a story that revolves around the many opportunities we have to alter ourselves on a major scale, through what appears to be a set of mundane situations and choices. Considering that most of the story dealt with events both in my past and as I was experiencing New York City for the first time, I have to admit that I had a great deal of fun as I wrote it. Ge Ming
Translated from Mandarin Chinese to English, "Ge Ming" roughly equates to "Revolution". As far back as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by Hong Kong as a city, being a jewel of freedom and capitalism that exists so close to the heart of modern-day communism. This story revolves around two characters who operate as members of the elite guard of a grand city (much like Hong Kong) that is under constant threat of invasion by a nearby country that is less powerful but very determined. The two main characters find themselves as being part of a conspiracy which is aimed at bringing a successful invasion to the city. The events of the story test their own personal convictions, and it tells of how one must fight mentally and physically for one's values in order to keep them intact. Even though the script is only 80% complete, I hope to finish it in the near future. ![]() ComedySave The Humans
Scripts are definitely my preference, since I tend to love dialogue more than anything else...but nothings beats free-style format, espcially when you're writing comedy. In this case, a friend of mine and I started to write content for a site which he created called Save The Humans, and considering the amount of free time that we had in those days, we created a decent amount of content during those years. If you'd like to sample some of the "Humour d'Aaron", follow one of the links listed below. If you laugh, I'll be glad to hear it. If you're insulted, I'm even happier. Homegrown
